CHAPTER IN PAKISTAN

HOPE is a faith-based Humanitarian Organization for Poverty Eradication. HOPE is a non-governmental and not-for-profit charitable organization formed by a group of committed people those are very keen to bring to change and improve people’s lives by providing ample opportunities and resources. HOPE is registered with Government of Pakistan under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

Mission

HOPE’s mission is to promote empowerment, social justice and protect the fundamental human rights of vulnerable groups by advocating against Human rights abuses, supporting and building their capacity.

Vision

“Empowering the Marginalized” To promote an inclusive society, enabling every individual to enjoy basic human rights irrespective of gender, race or religion.

Purpose

The main purpose of the organization is providing support to most disadvantaged, marginalized and vulnerable groups in the society to come up with their latent potential for social and economic empowerment.

Our Services

HOPE’s work has always been strategically aligned to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out by the United Nations (UN). The global agenda for development aims to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all by 2030. HOPE in its work strives to bring about the positive change envisioned in the SDGs. Most of HOPE’s development and humanitarian relief programs are multidimensional; with our focus areas are designed to work across sectors and contribute to multiple SDGs simultaneously.

Climate Change

HOPE is helping communities, and local organizations to increase their resilience through community-driven efforts led by local leaders.

HOPE Education

We provide economically, socially and financial assistance to educate the public of the plight of the vulnerable groups.

Gender Equality

Pakistan is the sixth most populous country in the world, with sixty percent of its population under the age of thirty.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Hope Worldwide-Pakistan initiated a project for the capacity building of its member organizations and other CBOs in Pakistan.

HOPE WORLDWIDE-PAKISTAN

CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOPS

The project is funded with its totally indigenous funding from HOPE to support the local organizations to enhance their capacities and contribute to the local communities in an effective manner.

First workshop of its kind was held in Jhelum Pakistan on 31st October 2020. Further consecutive workshops are going to be held in the months of December 2020 and February 2021.
